Life in the most excellent way is like a mystery that has been kept secret for centuries, but this mystery is now disclosed: “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” It is this hope, embodied in the person of Jesus Christ and instilled within one who believes in Him, that sustains those who walk in the most excellent way. It is what keeps them going, no matter what storms, obstacles, or problems come their way.

Hope is also confidence that there is much more than this life. Hope is resting in the assurance of eternal life. This assurance, this hope of eternal life, is only possible through Jesus Christ.
